Rashelle's Testimony
Before Christ I led a pretty average life. I had amazing friends and a loving mom. I went to school and I worked. On the outside I seemed really happy and I
believe most of the people around me thought I was. But I was really struggling with this hollow feeling inside that left me, at worst, depressed, and at best,
frustrated. It seemed that no matter what I did or had (friends, good grades, etc.) I couldn't feel satisfied.
The most important thing to me in my life was my friendships. Through these relationships I came to Christ. The months before I accepted Christ into my life were
very difficult. My little sister had just moved back home and was battling a harsh drug addiction. I was under a lot of stress and trying to be her support.
Through all of this my closest friends were a great support for me. My friends were all Christians so I began to learn more about Jesus and as I did I saw how
they conducted their lives, being led by Christ's love. This had a huge impact on me and after much conversation and contemplation, on a very special night, I
accepted Christ into my life.
My life now is no longer empty. I'm filled with an infinite love and complete satisfaction.
