Help
Need some help with our website? We've provided a list of some common website related subjects below.
Please read through them to see if we've already addressed the issue(s) you're having. If you need additional help, feel free to
contact us.
Finding Content
If you are looking for specific information on our website, the easiest way to find it may be to use our
Site Guide.
For your convenience, links to our Site Guide are provided at the top and bottom of every page. In the future, search functionality may be added to our
website. Until that time, if you wish to find a specific subject within our site, visit
www.google.com
and type "site:calvaryalameda.org" (without quotes) into the search field, before or after your search criteria.
Macromedia Flash Player
The header of our website contains an animated Flash movie that provides links to some site utilities (our site guide, this help page, an email page function
and our FAQs), a selection of Bible verses that you can scroll through, as well as subtle background animations. This Flash movie requires that you have the
Macromedia Flash Player installed in your web browser. Additionally, more features requiring the Flash Player may be added and/or removed in the future. Our
website is designed to automatically detect if you have the Flash Player installed in your web browser. If the Flash Player is detected, then you should see
the animations at the top play each time you visit a page, and you should be able to scroll through the available Bible verses at any time. If the Flash
Player is not detected, you should see a static image, which provides the same site utilities as the Flash movie, but will not allow you to scroll through the
scripture verses. If you do not have the Flash Player installed but would like to, please visit the
Macromedia Download Center.
If you need further assistance with the Macromedia Flash Player, please visit the
Macromedia Flash Player Support Center.
Web Browsers
Although our website is designed to look great and function well in just about any web browser, we recommend using a browser that supports HTML 4.0+,
JavaScript, and the Macromedia Flash Player. The majority of the content on our site is accessible with or without the aforementioned services, though
there are some features that are either enhanced by or accessed through them. A number of security and functionality issues have some end users questioning
which browsers are the best. Our recommendations are Mozilla Firefox
for the PC and Apple's Safari for the Mac.
